Welcome to the $settings.programName$ upgrade program. This program will upgrade your $settings.programName$ installation from v1.41 to v$settings.programVersion$. Please enter the following information:

Note: This program will do MOST of the work for you in upgrading. You may still need to adjust your templates and should review all the admin settings before going live. Many new features have been added.

Instructions

• Backup your website - As with any upgrade it's always recommended you make a backup of your website and website data before proceeding. This includes data files, uploads, templates and anything else of importance.


• Make sure you have v1.41 - If you have an older version you will need to upgrade to v1.41 before you can upgrade to version 2.


• Make sure you have enough diskspace - The upgrade process will make a copy of all your existing datafiles, uploads, and templates. Running out of diskspace half way through will prevent the upgrade process from completing. (The program will tell you how much diskspace is required before you begin the upgrade process)


• Use mysql for over 1000 records - If your server supports mysql you should configure version 2 to use it before upgrading. Mysql is faster with large number of records and uses less memory and CPU time. You are currently using a $currentDatabaseEngine$ database.


• Login with unique version 2 admin account - To be sure only authorized users can perform an upgrade you must login with a version 2 admin account below. This program will import your version 1 users so make sure your admin username does not exist in the version 1 user database. You can always login to version 2 and rename your admin user if needed (eg: admin to admin2, etc).

Disk Space	To upgrade you need to have enough disk space (and/or database space) to make a copy of all your articles, archives, uploaded files, and templates. Make sure you have enough diskspace before proceeding. Approximate Disk Space Required: $diskspaceRequiredInMegs$ megs.
Warning	Files in the following directories may be removed or overwritten: $_cgidir$/data/ $_cgidir$/templates/ $settings.upload_dir$ Make sure you haven't set your version 2 directory paths to point to the same place as version 1 or those files will be removed!
